I am looking at the possibility that she married a Samuel Carson b. 1760. There was an Anna (Ann) Carson in Grayson in 1820, the only other Carson listed then was James Carson which may have been her son. James Carsons sister Mary married James Atkins Sr. b. 1769, and Samuel Carson paid the marriage bond for Christiana Atkins. Atkins and Carsons came from Orange Co NC to Grayson. Samuel Carson had a son named Daniel Atkins Carson Sr. and back then children were named after their grandparents. So, if Daniel Atkins was Daniel Atkins Carson grandfather, one of Daniel Atkins daughters would have to be the mother. I was told by another lady that she could account for all his daughters but Anna. Also, I have a letter saying Grandma Carson lived in the Atkins settlement. I haven't been successful in finding anything on Anna Atkins. If she was Samuuel Carsons wife, she would have died in Muhlenberg Co. KY. Anyway ! Atkins and Carsons had a lot of ties.
