Bette, I have an F. J. Hale (no siblings listed) as s/o W. & M. Hale. I had F. J. md. to Nancy Hale (d/o Peyton G. & Amanda Cornett Hale). So I checked the marriage book for them and it says Fielden J. was s/o Warner & Mary Hale, Madison Co., NE. The "One World Tree" shows they had a son named Stephen (though it doesn't show a spouse for him.) Perhaps this is the couple you are looking for? I know of two Parsons that were law officers - both died from being shot in the line of duty. BOth died before 1907 - one was Isaac Cox Parsons, s/o John W. & Catherine "Katy" Cox Parsons. Isaac died Sep 1890. His brother, James Crittenden Alexander died in 1903 in Centralia, WA. If you find another one from this family, I'd love to know who it was.. I am looking for the parents of Charles Jones, born about 1765-70. His birthplace is given as Grayson Co., but since Grayson wasn't formed then could someone let me know which neighboring counties that formed Grayson could have been his location. He was in Henry Co.
