Wanda, From the website, ls.net/~newriver/va/grayson.htm I found Jesse Linch on the 1810 Grayson Co. Tax List. On April 11, 1810, he was listed with 1 white male tithable and 1 horse. The New River Notes website is an excellent source of Grayson Co. information. They have many tax lists on there. There are no censuses available for the early years, so they are being reconstructed by tax lists. Hope this helps.
