I am looking for any information on James Hill, born before 1800 in Grayson Co VA. James migrated to possibly Ohio, definitely Indiana, and lived in Marion Co IA during the period 1860-1870. James and his wife were living with his daughter and son-in-law (Bowater Sumner) in 1870. Could this James Hill be related to William Hill, husband of Hannah Ballard (both of Grayson Co VA moved to Hamilton Co IN) or Louisa Hill, wife of William Ballard (both also of Grayson Co VA moved to Hamilton Co IN and Marion Co IA)?
