Patience was born in Grayson County, Virginia in February 1792. Patience and John later moved to Browersville, Greene County, Ohio. John's sister Alice also married a Studivan, which I believe could be a brother to Patience. According to D.A.R. records, Alice was living in Browersville also, but no husband listed. Her husband might have been named Thomas.

I had seen that before on ancestry, but I wasn't sure if I should think it was the same person as in the 1900 census with her adult son. I think I also found her in the Rector household in the 1880 census. What happens to her after 1900 is a mystery to me. Thanks

She never married but had one child Ephraim E. Carson b. Dec. 22, 1873 d.June 24, 1950. According to the 1900 census in Grayson co., Mary was living with her adult son's family and her birth was listed as Dec. 1845 NC. I can't seem to "find" her to trace her back further. Could some kind soul please check Grayson records to see if there is a death recorded on her, it would of course be after 1900. I'm not sure if she died there or not.

Has anyone ever found Thomas Weldon and Martha Jane Nicholls Poole in the 1920 census? I can't find them anywhere. I have found them in all of the census years during their lifetime except for 1920. Any help finding them in this one census would be greatly appreciated. Sue Dotson Buzzybee@prodigy.net
Sorry about that. It got split in the email. If you add the cs.htm that is on the second line to the link, it will work. Or, go to http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~alanwood/ and click on Burcham Trunk Pictures. Another way is to use http://tinyurl.com/jv3ja Sorry for the trouble. I couldn't either but you have to copy and paste it on there and make sure you have the last cs.htm at the end. ----- Original Message ----- From: <Livelyj@aol.com> To: <VAGRAYSO-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Monday, April 24, 2006 7:49 PM Subject: Re: [VAGRAYSO] Pictures > > In a message dated 4/24/2006 3:40:59 P.M. It's been quite a while since I posted this so I'll do it again now. A few years ago, I went through a trunk that had belonged to my grandparents. There were many of the pictures that I could not identify so I put them on a website. I got lots of help in identifying unknowns and also posted a few pictures for other people in the process. A majority of the pictures relate to the Burcham, Davis and collateral families, neighbors and friends most of whom are in the Grayson/Carroll County areas. The pictures are at http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~alanwood/burchamtrunk/trunkpi cs.htm. Anyone who has corrections or additional information, please let me know.
