I would like to start a new category on the Gloucester Co. web site of names of plantations or homes. So often I get emails from people inquiring as to if I had ever heard of such and such place and where was it located. Sometimes I can help and other times I have to send it to the lists. Today I received an email from Bill Dancy in Yorktown seeking the location of "Mill Hill". He believes it to be on the North River in the Toddsbury, Elmington, Exchange area. Does anyone have any info on Mill Hill? This is the reason for making up this list. I had started my own list earlier, but when my hard drive died earlier this year, so did the list. If anyone has any place names that they would like to submit, please send them to me and I will enter them on the Gloucester Co., VaGenWeb site. Please include a Rt. number or where it can be located. Also, if you know a certain place was sold and the name was changed, please include that info too for cross referencing.
