She is the daughter of Milton Speed Shackelford, the granddaughter of George William Shackelford, the ggranddaughter of George William Shackelford, who's first wife was Eliza Birch, second wife was Amanda Dews and third wife was Julie Croswell. Benjamin F. and George William were grandsons of Benjamin and Tabitha Speed Shackelford.
