Someone else suggested that I check the York Co. site and I found the Rent Roll there this morning. Now I have 3 more counties to query, maybe I'll get lucky. One later generations of our Bass family lived in Powhatan Co. where Thomas R. Bass married Sarah Eliz. Ann Mayo in 1839 and they later moved to Richmond, VA. So Henrico and Chesterfield seem very likely. Just wish there was a Sackleford line there too. By the way, when I looked at the Rent Roll, I wanted to check out other names. It didn't show the entire "W" list and said it was too much to show it all. Is there any way to access the entire "W" list? That York Co. site has a lot of fantastic links.
