I have seen the info on the Hudgins web page, but I have found that alot of the info in the newspaper articles is incorrect. I thought if I posted a query on the Gloucester message board someone would have some documented info to share. I appreciate you taking the time to respond to my query, and sharing the info you have found. By the way, what plantations are you researching? I live in Mathews Co. VA next to Gloucester Co. Va, and many of the families I'm researching have ties to family plantations in Gloucester. Thanks again, Becky
