Graves died Jan.17, 1876 at age 68. His son Amos gave the death information. William J. Graves' wife at the time of his death was named Margaret. William's parents are identified as William & Elizabeth Graves. Using that information and the 1850/1860 census records, I would place the family in the Coke/Timberneck Creek area of the county.
