My mother's maiden name is Alice Green. She was born in Gloucester. Her ancestors were Daniel Louis Green and wife Thelma Delores Whiting (parents); Major Fields Green and wife Charlotte Richardson (p. grandparents); Jesse Grant Whiting and Ruby Pearline Cook(e) (m. grandparents); Alexander H. Green and Emily Reade, Charles Richardson and Mariah, Daniel Whiting, Sylvester Cook and Indy....just to name some. To my knowledge all were born in Gloucester--in the Signpine/Woods Cross Roads area. That's regarding the Green side. Now...you must have married a Waller. My father is James Freddie Waller, Sr. He was born in Glenns, the upper side of Gloucester. His father was Rev. Stephen S. Waller and his mother is Mary Braxton (still living) who was born in Middlesex. I can go back as far as William Robert Waller, II - born in King & Queen (1836). And farther back to the 1700s to the Keys of Middlesex. But anyway, we need to talk......My dad and mom know the Drivers of Gloucester. I believe they are descendants of Indians (like us.....that's another story). Please....we need to talk!!! E-mail me!!
