My gg grandfather Eli Vest was b. in Seneca Co. NY in 1808/1809 and married Eliza Wood. The moved to Michigan prior to Sep. 1839 since thier 4th child was born in Michigan state along with thier remaining children(total 11) I have been stymied for over 40 years trying to find parents or brothers/sisters for Eli. I have a complete family history coming down thru all of his children. His 2nd child John Secar Vest Sr. was my g grandfather and his son John Secar Jr. was my grandfather.
