James Baker Ensing in Rev. War died or was killed at Kings Pt. leaving 2 ch. one dau unmarried and a son JAMES BAKER , he married and had 2 ch. one died unmarried the other a son reaching the age of 21 - died. He left his estate by will to RHODA ALLMOND his mother. She having 3 ch: Martha /William/ Matilda the only heirs at law of James Baker Ensing. REV WAR. Land Book shows 150 ac of land in Name of Elizabeth Baker up until 1827 when a HENRY G. BAKER and RHODA ALLMOND sold part and in 1831 land book states 113 1/2 devised to RHODA ALLMOND by her Brother heir of Elizabeth Baker at her death which may have been as early as 1799 when property is listed as Est. of Elizabeth Baker.
