Nancy B. On pg. 275 of Vol 2, "Giles County, Virginia, History'Families" there is the following article: Daniel and Mary Keatly Martin Daniel Martin(1758-Feb.20, 1824) married Mar Keatly(1756-1848). They migrated from Cumberling County Pennsylvania to Montgomery County about 1798. They bought land on Whitley"s Branch of Walker's Creek near Staffordsville. They had six children: John, Sally, Jane, Rebecca, Mary and Anney. John Martin the oldest child of Daniel and Mary Martin, born 1780, married Susanna Waggoneer in Montgomery County Nov. 3, 1802. She was the daughter of Adam and Jane Waggoneer. John and Susanna had twelve children: David, John Jr., Mary, Daniel, Nancy, Jane, William C., Lorenzo Dow, Adam, Sarah, Anna, Achilles and George W. John Martin Jr. (Jan 23, 1806-June 3, 1887) married Elizabeth Waggoneer Oct. 31, 1831. They had thirteen children: Frances, Susan, Elizabeth Jane, William K., George W., Margaret Ann, Rebecca, James Reed, John M., Cynthia, Hiram, Rufus and Heneretta. Margret Ann Martin (Mar. 31, 1839-Mar. 3, 1924) married James M. Kidd on Nov. 16, 1858 in Giles County. They raised eleven children in Bland County near Bastian. One of their Grandsons, James Frazier Kidd, married Mamie Belle Smith on June 16, 1920. They raised eleven children in the Rye Hollow section of Giles County; Juanita, Terrell, Buford, Rudolph, Iris, Alice, James Jr., Daniel, Frank, Gerald, and Michael.
