Hi Paul, According to some information I have, my g-g-g-g grandfather Jacob McPherson and Isaac McPherson were brothers. The information I have states that Isaac was in Roane County, Tennessee around 1815, and he had the following children: Isaac Jr., born in Washington County, TN Eleanor, married Arthur Bane - 1819 Roane County, TN Jeanie, married John Clark - 1820 Roane County, TN Margaret, married Jacob Kendrick or Jacob Fawley Short- 1824 Roane County, TN Let me know if any of this fits with your McPhersons.
