Margaret GODFREY, daughter of Absalom and Mary Ellen Bailey. They moved to Mercer County (Mercer 1850 Census) and then into Wyoming County, VA (WVA). Children of Jesse and Margaret are: Hiram G, John W., Joshua P., Irwin W., William A., James B., Jesse A., Martha J., Nancy, Sarah, and Elvira. Does anyone know Jesse Davis's parents? From the 1810 Giles Census, I would guess the choices are William, Hiram or Linsey. Does anyone know who Jesse's siblings are? Kay Davis
