I have a Charlie Davis born in Giles VA in 1890 - Father Ben Davis - Mother Francis Whitaker Davis - Would someone please do a look up for them. The post below is so close but the dates are off and I was told Francis lived on land given to her in VA till she died - then the State took it back and sold it . Perhaps on the 1880 census? Frances' parents were Tom and Maria (Mariah) Whitaker.
