W. 30 farm work There is a reference to Samuel Lawson in the Henry Cecil Rice article: Henry Rice married again on December 21, 1936 to Bertha Lawson, the daughter of Samuel and Drucilla Lawson. Henry and Bertha raised a family of seven children. Couldn't find a Sam Lawson on the 1880 Giles Census in the 2nd Vol of Giles County, Virginia History-Families. Phyllis
