ATTENTION: Mitchell and Phoebe Belcher Clay Historians William Sanders, a local Princeton Attorney has established a trust fund for the purchase of the original land where Mit- chell and Phoebe Belcher Clay had their 1700's homestead. There is a huge land developement all around the Clay homesite now. Sanders and the CLAY TRUST members are attempting to raise the money necessary for the rescue of this site. The original cemetery is a part of this project. I'm told that as many as two of their children are buried in this cemetery. There are 7 acres that have been set aside for this effort. Should any descendants or interested historians wish to help with this preservation effort.
