Brenda, I have the entire 1850 VA census record CD's and I tried real hard to find your Adam Franklin Garnes with no luck. Sorry. I also looked for Brillhart. I found in Montgomery Co., VA a Daniel Brillhart, 28; his wife Deli.ah, 20; John S. 4; and Adaline, 2. Don't know if this family is the family of Martha Brilhart, but because of the proximity to Giles Co, I thought it might be keeping in mind. Good luck to you, Pam Kerschner
