Hello: Here is what I found about Jesse: There is a Jesse Perkins listed with the following family in 1850 census: James P. Johnson 23 Ellen 28 Elisabeth 7 Mary 6 mo. Jesse PERKINS 13 ______________________________________________ This is the 1870 census. PERKINS: James 46 Lucy 40 Thomas 18 Eliza 16 Mary 13 Jesse 10 Sallie 9 George 6 Charles 3 Joshua 3 Ezekiel 7/12 And this one: 1880 Census: Perkins: James 55 Lucy J. 40,wife Jesse A. 20 S.I. 18, dau. G.W. 15, son Charles 13 Ezekiel 12 R.D. 6, dau. Obrien, B.W. 30 farm worker The only thing I could find on Sam LAWSON was; A 1916 birth of Cerozier? LAWSON father Sam. And that he was married to a Drucilla ???. They had a daughter Bertha that m. a Henry Rice on 12/21/1936. Hope this little helps.
