Ron, you'll find the 1806 tax list online on the Newriver Notes website run by Jeff Weaver. The address is: http://www.ls.net/~newriver/nrv.htm There are five Blankenships listed, Richard, Shedrick, Peter, Jesse and Archibald. The first two have 2 white tithes, probably indicating a male over 16 in addition to the head of household. At least, I think only males of taxable age were included. They only list heads of household, though.
