    3. Bill they are open mainly on Wednesday noon to 5 p.m. but quite often Rebecca is there on Thursday and Friday as well. They have a lot of individual family histories, Vol 1 and 2 of Giles Co. History, as well as many books from other counties, including Mercer Co. W.Va. There phone number is 540- 921-1050, and address is 208 North Main Street, Pearisburg, Va. 24134. It is between Pearisburg Post Office and Pilot Gas station. You will notice Andrew Johnson House first and Historical society is across the drive way. Very neat people there and willing to help out. 2. Phyllis, Thanks, I have read the article. I have both Vol. 1 and Vol.2 of the Giles County books and have found a lot of great material in them. I was just wondering if Lewis appeared on the 1860 census. I found him on the 1850 with Leticia, but the 1860 census isn't in the Giles County books and I was just curious. My husbands grandfather was George Williams s/o Lewis. I am still trying to find information on David Lucas father of Meredith Lucas. Do you have any suggestions? I have a copy of the marriage bonds of David and Margaret Farley, but it does not give the parents for either. I welcome any suggestions on this. Phyllis
