I'm no expert on copyrights, but have learned quite a bit since we started the Archives. Anyone can reprint an older book that is out of copyright, but... they cannot copyright it. They can only copyright their presentation and any additional information they add to the original. Also, licenses have to be considered, like the Broderbund census images cd's. Linda
