`--State Coordinators in the NE/NC region, please forward to your State lists-- Dear Fellow Volunteers, On Oct 10, the Advisory Board requested letters of interest from any County Coordinators (CC's) in the Northeast/North-central (NE/NC) region who were interested in filling the vacant NE/NC County Coordinator Representative Position on the Advisory Board. Two CC's are interested in filling this position. In alphabetical order, they are Richard M. Howland and David C. Young. Richard M. Howland is CC of Piatt Co., IL, and David C. Young is CC of Belknap Co, NH, Carroll Co., NH, Androscoggin Co., ME and TC (Town Coordinator) of Rockport and Gloucester, Essex Co., MA It is the opinion of the Advisory Board that both of these applicants are well qualified and that either of them would ably represent the NE/NC CC's on the Advisory Board. The Advisory Board wishes to encourage all CC's in the NE/NC region to take an active role in letting the board members know who you wish to represent you. Since the Advisory Board is interested in filling this vacancy in the very near future, please send any comments on this matter prior to October 29, 1999.
