I am truly sorry that Dodie feels that way toward the Archives and me, and wish she had been around longer to get to know me and not believe the things that are being said. We've never required or asked that cc's submit data to the Archives and I've been adamant about making sure the Archives html's do not compete with county pages, and encourage links, with permission, from the Archives tocs to the cc's pages. Greetings folks, Dodie's resignation is a complete surprise to me!!! I had no idea she was dissatisfied with anything re the Archives and the VAGenWeb Projects. There is NO requirement for CCs to involve themselves with promoting the Archives Project, and no policy to place files there rather than your county pages. As host, you're the total authority as to what's placed on your pages.
