There's been a motion to vote on whether or not VAGenWeb should sponsor one or more of the three proposed amendments to the USGenWeb By Laws. Before voting there may need to be discussion on the proposed amendments. Some CCs may want to ask for clarification on the meaning and/or purpose of a particular amendment. Before voting, there should be some agreement that a vote is in order, and whether voting should be by "secret ballot" or by ayes & nays on the list. Since VAGenWeb is such an informal group, there's not been a call for working out "set procedures" that I'm aware of. Regards, Freddie S.
