Linda and others, I really appreciate that my request did not become personal. It is my hope that all three proposed amendments are sponsored so that we can vote on all three. If that happens, then whatever the outcome happens to be, the opinions of the majority of the voters will be known. If those majority opinions are known, then whatever happens to and within USGW cannot be construed to have been caused by a few or caused by malcontents or caused by any reason or anyone other than those who voted. There are people within USGW who never speak out but do vote (I used to be one). I am not saying what I wish the outcome to be other than I hope that after the election results are known, the archived messages for the ALL list will change and replies will be, "Hey, the people voted and this is what the majority wanted." Wouldn't that be lovely? Not everyone will like the outcome of the election but maybe we can all be a bit more acceptable of the outcome knowing that we all had a chance to vote on every issue. I will be voting yes for VA to sponsor all three proposed amendments. However, that does not mean I will be voting yes on all three if they are voted on during the election. For those of you wishing to know more about the candidates, it is not necessary to sub to the ALL list. You can read the archived messages instead. Type in a candidates name and you can then get to know the candidate, how he/she responds to others, how he/she feels about an issue. Usually, the original query will appear on a reply made by a candidate. You can also sub to the Daily Board Show. However, the author does give her own opinions and is sometimes biased and is sometimes incorrect. But, you can then use a keyword to get more info from the archived messages. The DBS is also amusing and gives comic relief at times.
