    3. Freddie, The various proposed amendments are found by going to the USGenWeb page and clicking on "Official USGW Project Business" which will take you to "Proposed Amendments to the By Laws" which will take you to the actual proposals. A minimum of 5 states as co-sponsors is required before the amendment can be placed on the ballot. Can we have the choice of voting on whether or not we wish to be a sponsor? Linda, I'm not attempting to stir up controversy on this list nor am I asking anyone's opinion. I would just like to have the opportunity to vote on the issues. I have never had a problem visiting more than one site to find archives and I would not have a problem if someone added another Shenandoah Co site through ALGN or whatever it is called or any of the other organizations found on the web. In fact, I would welcome the help. Delinking the other archives did bother me since I had not bookmarked it and could not find it again. I think voting on the issues would be in the best interests of the USGenWeb Project. Once the results were known, we would all know how the majority feels about the issues and everyone would have had a chance to voice their opinion, if so desired, by voting. If the results favored you, then the entire project would know. This also applies to the other two issues/amendments. I wish to have the opportunity to voice my opinion on issues by voting. If I am the only CC requesting this, then I withdraw my plea. If there is at least one more, then I hope our wishes are treated with respect by allowing us the opportunity to vote. I agree, Alley. Everyone should have an opportunity to vote, and it should be done soon, since there is not much time. Freddie.. can you take the vote counts and report to this list and state-coord list? Everyone can vote yes, no, or abstain. Linda
