VA. Found in will book 19, 160, is the account of the estate sales of Margaret Davis (widow of Wm. Davis) dated 29 Jan 1826, probated 9 Mar 1826, names of slaves: Old Molly, Emily & child, Richard, Reuben, David, Gabriel, Samuel, NELSON (purchased by Andrew Chunn), Robert, John, Patrick & wife & child, Mariah & Harry & Judy. I thought the first name began with a "N". There are other head of households bearing the surname Davis that owned slaves.
