Christina was a daughter of Jacob Lockmiller and Catherine Wisert. Jacob was the youngest son of Jurig Lohmueller [George Lockmiller] and Catherina ________. George was born in 1714 in Freiburg, Germany and migrated to America. He arrived in Philedelphia Sept. 5, 1738, on the English ship, Winter Galley. He was in a group of Germans who arrived in the part of Frederick Co., VA that is now Shenandoah Co. He established a farm there and had about ten children, the youngest of whom was Jacob. Jacob inherited the farm at George's death in 1788. I have quite a bit more information about Jacob, including a copy of his will. I will send more info to your e-mail address if you want it.
