I have hit my brick wall with my great-grandfather, Henry L. Stephens, born May 12, 1826 in Frederick Co., VA. He died June 16, 1907 in Wood Co., WV, if my grandmother's records are accurate. At one point I found something indicating that Henry was the son of William Stephens, born about 1779 in Frederick Co, himself the son of Henry Stephens, Jr, grandson of the original Peter Stephens (Steffens). I don't have anything confirming this link. Do any of you have information on the children of William Stephens? Bryan D.
