Elizabeth married Edwin S. Triplett born 7/29/1819 died 9/10/1892 of TB. Marriage date of 10/28/1840. Edwin and Elizabeth had 10 children: Martha Jane b. 9/23/1841 d. 7/21/1885 of stomach cancer, Isabella Catherine b. 7/12/1842 d. 10/18/1932, William b. 7/22/1843 d. 4/23/1901 he was a member of Co. R. Imbodens Confederate Calvary, C.S.A.-18-Va., Mary Elizabeth b. 11/16/1844 d. 1913, Lucinda b. 8/23/1847 d. 12/16/1869, Richard Bushrod b. 11/9/1848 b.11/9/1848 date of death unknown, James Nathaniel b. 2/25/1852 d. 6/27/1878 of pneumonia, Edwin b. 5/5/1856 d. 9/6/1856, Eliza Ann b. 2/4/1859 d. 1/5/1896, Albertis b. 12/7/1860 d. 6/1/1946. I also have information on marriages of the above children of Edwin and Elizabeth if anyone is interested. I can trace back as far as Edwins parents, Nathaniel B Triplet and Mary Henry or Hendry, and Elizabeths parents, Joseph Poole Sr. and Elizabeth McGinnis. Does anyone out there have any information that would trace further back? Nathaniel B Triplett was also married to Elizabeth Smith (second wife, Mary Henry or Hendry? being his 3rd) Nathaniel and Elizabeth Smith also had children, one of them being Mildred Triplett b. 1815 d. 6/19/1884, who married Ruben Elliott on 12/12/1833(another branch of my family tree). I am also interested in finding out any information on Ruben Elliott b. 1811 d. Jan. 1860, he was tackled by his son in law which led to a broken neck killing him. I have his parents as being William Aquilla Elliott and Nancy Wright. Any info would be greatly appreciated!
