    3. I think you might mean Opequeon, VA. It was the site of a Civil War battle Sept 19, 1864. Actually, I think the battle was on Opequeon Creek which is in part in West VA although maybe in VA too. There was an Opequeon Church in Kerstown, VA. In 1750 there was an Opequeon in Frederick Co., VA P.I.FOX wrote: > did you try > ftp://ftp.rootsweb.com/pub/usgenweb/va/frederick/cemeteries/ > > dlmfox aka genie guru > OUR VA ,D.C,MD,PA,NJ GENEALOGIES > http://www.geocities.com/pifox1/index.html > > > > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: <[email protected]> > To: <[email protected]> > Sent: Wednesday, September 15, 2004 7:31 AM > Subject: [VAFREDER] Moon/Bowen > > > >>This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. >> >>Classification: Query >> >>Message Board URL: >> >>http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/gAC.2ACE/2696 >> >>Message Board Post: >> >>I am looking for a cemetery called "Opqueon" in VA thinking Fredricks CO > > Ann(Moon)Bowen is buired there and possibly her husband Henry Bowen > >> >>==== VAFREDER Mailing List ==== >>FREDERICK COUNTY GEN-WEB SITE >> > > > > ==== VAFREDER Mailing List ==== > Address all of your Frederick County > messages to: [email protected] >
