I HIGHLY recommend getting a county map like this if you want some detail & want to try to locate specific property. I found mine at Barnes & Noble, $10.95 a few years ago. It is large - 12 x 15 or so, and has 44 pages. Sometimes a local discount store will probably have a county map as well, but this one seems to have the best detail & easiest to work with. Mine is from: ADC The Map People 6440 General Green Way Alexandria, VA 22312-2447 1-800-ADC-MAPS www.adcmap.com Frederick County ISBN # 0-87530-030-8 page 18 Mount Williams area is at the intersection of highways 608 (Wardensville Road) & 612 (Mount Williams Lane). It is in the 2900-3400 block of Hwy 608. This is west of Winchester, SW of Round Hill. Zip code (helps to locate) is 22602. I don't see a cemetery on the map in Mt. Williams - but slightly NE, in Mt. Pleasant, on Hwy 608, there are 2. They are in the 1600-2000 block area of 608, one by the church, one down (?Quail Run Lane?) called Lamps Memorial. Sometimes (usually before 1860 or so) families set aside "God's Little Acre" - and a portion of land would be set aside on the home property for family burials. Sometimes they were in a corner, adjoining another persons land, and both families used it. There is also a cemetery slightly south of Hwy 608, somewhat in the "V" of 618 & 616. I don't see "Taylor Furnace" on the map - but hopefully you can find how far apart they are. Good luck!
