I believe her father was Thomas Wade. There is a Wadesville in the area. This Pyle family lived in the Pylestown, Millwood and Boyce area of Clarke County until my grandmother’s death in 1988. William Pyle’s son, William Franklin Pyle, married Johanna Ferguson whose parents are Josiah and Susan Catherine Peyton Ferguson from Paris in Fauquier County. Wm Franklin Pyle’s son, Milton Shepherd Pyle, married Katherine Narcissa Dick whose parents are David and Elizabeth Dick. I can’t seem to link this Pyle family to any of the Pyles in the area. Does anyone know more about these two families? Thank you - Anne J.
