I had hoped to find something about the parents of these gg grandparents. But it is perhaps too early a time for much information. I will share with you the story told about Benjamin Dix having been taken prisoner of war in the Civil War and when the war was over he returned home to find his wife had remarried because whe had been told he had been killed in action.
