My gg grandparents lived at Green Springs. The information checks out with the children I have for Ben and Laney ( Magdline ) Jerry Keys did a lot of research on the Dix family some years ago but could not find anything past Ben Dix. I do have a copy of an 1885 map of the Green Springs area and it has on it "Ben Dix's Farm." I remember the farm very well sense my grandfather eventually inhiered from his father Samuel Elliot Dix. I spent many wonderfull times playing with my siblings and cousins there. My Grandmother baked all her own bread, rolls, cakes, and pies in her old wood stove. I have yet to find coconut cream pie to equal her's. The home was destroy in a fire in which my grandfather was badly burned and did not recover. A school bus driver pulled him out of the house. This was in the late 1950's. Again thanks so much for the help. Lois
