My information on the Baldwin/Hedges line is very soft. I have a Jane/Jean Hedges b. about 1752 (possibly in Berkeley County, VA). She married William Baldwin, b. about 1716 in Chester County, PA. His year of birth may be incorrect, given Jane's year of birth, or vice versa. I n any case, I think they had a son, Joseph Baldwin, b. July 11, 1773, who married Elizabeth Wilson on February 10, 1795 in Berkeley County, VA. I think that Elizabeth was the daughter of Captain James Wilson, son of the John Wilson who died in 1783 in Berkeley County, VA. If Jane did in fact marry Captain James Wilson after William Baldwin died, then Elizabeth married her half brother, Joseph. Again, this is purely speculation on my part. They had a daughter, Jane Baldwin, b. about 1801 and the information I have indicates that she married a Thomas C. Wilson, the son of James Wilson and Anna Cleland, b. about 1743 in Prince George's County, MD (I do not know how/if this James Wilson is connected to the other Wilsons in this line and I do not have any more information about him yet). My Wilson ancestors moved into Washington County, PA from VA and then on to Fayette/Bourbon Counties in KY around 1785. After Clark County, KY was formed, some of these relatives moved on to Montgomery, Bath, Nicholas and Owen Counties (a few went to Ohio), with my Wilson line ending up in Putnam County, IN around 1832. I have added the connecting surnames of my Wilson line to this e-mail. Unfortunately, I am not familiar with the names you mentioned in your last post (at least not yet, anyway). Best regards, SP-5 Rob "God Bless America"
