John Edward married Frances Virginia Marple who had 9 children, Anna Belle Jolley being the oldest married Howard Cather Reynolds. Alfred and Charlotte had 8 children being: George W. Jolley, John Edward Jolley, Joseph A. Jolley, Anne E. Jolley, Charles Lee Jolley, Hester A. Jolley, Robert Sherrard Jolley and Mary Jane Jolley. As far as I can tell through my research George was born in 1841 but very little is known about him. It seems that Alfred's brother's names are George P. Jolley and Landon J. Jolley. Several of them are buried at Wesleys Chapel Church in Cross Junction, VA. If you all are interested I have pics of their headstones. Several years ago I was fortunate enough to meet with an older gentleman, Clark Jolley and he took me to where the old homestead in Morgan County, WVA used to stand and I got quite a bit of info from him.
