That doesn't mean they weren't married in Frederick County though. They might have been married by a minister that didn't record it with the county. They may have been married in a nearby county - I checked Shenandoah, no luck, but possibly Warren County?? Or, they may have been married elsewhere - especially if one (usually bride, as she probably wouldn't go to him without being married) was from say Philadelphia or New York area. You might try church records if you have an idea of denomination. Handley Archives in WInchester may be of some help. Sorry I couldn't help, but didn't find them in the books.
