I know that James was the son of George the Emigrant, and Sarah(?) Scarbro, (m.in 1710, I believe.) who came to America from Lancashire, England in 1699, and that James and Sarah had six children, Jemimah (m.Joel Wright), Richard (m.Anna Dillon), George (m.Susannah Dillon,dau.of William Dillon, from Ireland),James (m. Mary Reece of Scots descent), Elizabeth (m.Peter Dillon, a son of William Dillon, and Sarah, (m. James Wright, brother of Jemimah's husband). I would like to know more about the ancestry of George the Emigrant. Can anyone give me any ideas? Thanks, Carolyn
