I have some info on the Harrells who went to Wythe County - you can view it at (look in the index): http://www.geocities.com/watsgw1155/davis2/index.htm If, by chance, you have any additional info on these Harrells, I would very much like to add it to the record. Gary, This is one of the lines our little research group is tracing. We have some information on later lines but haven't been able to prove where William Harrell who died in Wythe co. 1822 came from. Our DNA tests prove that Reuben Harrell of Shenandoah Co. is of the same line as William of Wythe co.. so we can only assume William came from Northern Va. also.. We are also dealing with a Jacob Harrell who is said to have been in Campbell co., Va. before 1800 and moved to Ky and from there to Alabama about 1820. The DNA from his descendants also match that of William of Wythe co., Va.. Thanks for the Website address! More Later, G. Lee Hearl Authentic Appalachian Storyteller Abingdon, Va.
