The land is now apparently in either Shenendoah or Rockingham County. This Andrew Campbell was involved in several court battles in Augusta County involving a Samuel Gay, a Thomas Gray, and a John Walker. Seeking any documents / info related to this man. TC

He moved sometime in possibly to VA/WV in the Ritchie County, VA/WV area. He married Elizabeth Nutter of Ritchie County,VA/WV in 1849 and lived there till his death in 1875 in Ritchie County, WV. His children were Lafayette, Soitha, Sophrona and Isabell, Mary Jane and Charles Bickerstaff. Alexander Bickerstaff possibly had brothers--Nathan and George. I do know that his grandfather was in the Revolutionary War and moved to Beaver Falls, PA after the war. I am trying to find his parents names and his siblings names. Christian Streit who held service both in English and German.The Diary of Christian Streit shows young people under his instruction at Old Furnace on 19 April 1788 Magdalena, 15 years old the daughter of Henry BRUHL.
