Phillip owned a tavern in Winchester but I think went to the Back Creek Settlement. They had several children, two of which I have info on-Jacob Amick, who married 3 times, Jane Loman, Tacy Anderson (my ancestor), and Virginia Louise Jane McKee, and William Henry Amick who married Mary Coe. Jacob and Tacy Anderson Amick had several children, one of which was James Polk Amick(my ancestor), who traveled across the mountains from Back Creek Settlement to settle in Ritchie County, (W)VA.
