I believe this Peter was Elizabeths son. Info I have makes Peter Barr & Margaret my 3xgreat grandparents. I found info at the Virgina Historical Society in Richmond Va. in Apr of 2003. Peter had at least one brother, Frederick. Both are believed to have been born in Frederick Co. Va. Peter abt. 1780. Then in May of this year (2004), I found a Will at the Virginia State Library for a Peter Barr d: in Frederick Co. Va h/w Elizabeth, sons Frederick and Peter (Exr.) and dau's Mary, Polly, Caty & Sarah. The Will is dated 25 Feb. 1803. There was also a Estate Inventory dated 5 May 1803. I now believe this Peter could be my 4xgreat grandfather. It then looks like Elizabeth m: Henry Printz in 1805. Peter & Margaret then remove to Franklin Co. Oh. in 1811. Does anyone else out there have any other info about this family? russ

Memorial Cemetery is and I knew Patsy was buried there. I believe the person that gave me this info is probably mistaken. All of the graves that I am interested in would be very old ones and I don't believe this Shen. Mem. would have been there at that time. I believe he probably means Mt. Hebron and relates to it as the Winchester Cemetery. He is an aged person himself. When you say end of Boscawen St - do you mean like going toward the new hospital or Medical Center?

Mt Hebron is located within the City limits of Winchester at the end of Boscoean Street at East Lane.
Mount Hebron Cem. in Winchester is or was also known as Stonewall Cem. and Confederate Cem. Patsy Cline is buried in Shenandoah Memorial Park, Rte. 522 South, Patsy Cline Memorial Highway. I don't think there is a Winchester Cem., per se. --- GENIE GURU <[email protected]> wrote: > 2 separate cemeteries > > handley library would have more info > > dlmfox aka genie guru > OUR VA ,D.C,MD,PA,NJ GENEALOGIES > http://www.geocities.com/pifox1/index.html > > > > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: <[email protected]> > To: <[email protected]> > Sent: Sunday, August 15, 2004 12:46 PM > Subject: [VAFREDER] Winchester Cemeteries > > > > This is a Message Board Post that is > gatewayed to this mailing list. > > > > Surnames: Dyke, McDaniels > > Classification: Query > > > > Message Board URL: > > > > > http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/gAC.2ACE/2689 > > > > Message Board Post: > > > > Is Winchester Cemetery and Mt.
