    3. Opequon (also formerly know as Frog Eye) at least is very much around still, an historic crossroads with a handful of very fine and old buildings, roughly central in Frederick County, located about 2.5 miles southwest of Winchester, Va. along the Cedar Creek Grade (Rt. 622, formerly Cartmell Road.) As for Canterbury, I'm not sure. There is a Canterburg, or a cluster of associated place names, but in the southeast corner of Frederick County ( roughly 2 miles east of Middletown and two miles south of Stephens City.) R. He mentioned one of his 5 daughters as: Mary PECK (wife of Richard) they were to have a portion of his estate named "Thomas Discovery" in MD. So you might have to do research in that area of MD.
