I did not know that there was a William Kile still in Frederick Co., Va in 1810. He could well be the son of my James. I will also look into Jefferson Co. I checked the land records and found the names of the children of James, but did not find William. Book 21 - p. 763, 1787 - James Kile bought255 acres in the Cove, adjoining the Bear Ridge book 30, p. 101 - 1806 - widow of James gives quit claim to Robert Kile, executor and brother of James, for her dower rights book 37, p. 138 - 1815 - John Kile, son of James, sells land to Moses Newbank book 39, p. 237 - 1816 - James, Sarah, Stephen and Thomas Kile sell lands on drains of Back Creek to Moses Newbank book 41, p. 59 - 1818 - Francis and Nancy (Marple)Kile sell land to Noses Newbank book 41 - p. 176 - 1817? - Nathaniel Kile son of James, sells land to Moses Newbank book 41, p. 466 - 1819 - Stephen Kile sells land book 45, p. 531 - 1822 - John and Elizabeth Kile sell land, also mentioned in the widow Sarah, now remarried to Michael Houseman. But I never found a William, nor Abraham, who were sons of James as mentioned in his will. Thank you for your help!

VA, as he was one of the witness on 28 Mar 1810 the will of Philip Sellers. Also listed on the 1810 census index a Wm. Kile living in Jefferson Co. VA/WV. So you might want to check land deeds around the year of 1810 in both Frederick Co. VA & Jefferson Co. VA/WV to see if the same man. Good luck

Joseph KEELER, son of David Keeler, and nephew of his late wife, not named. I can't find a marriage between Bush with Keeler. 2. Dennis Bush, his brother, he died after the date of will, about the time of 12 Jun 1824, his portion given to his son David Bush. 3. Wm. Bush dec'd his brother, his portion given to his children. named as Wm., Peggy Knokes (wife of Thomas) & Andrew Bush 4. Paul Bush his brother 5. Frederick Bush his brother 6. Barbara, his sister is said to be living in Germany married to a "man named Rhine" 7. David Keeler, brother of his late wife 8. Margaret McAnally, sister of his late wife 9. Susanna Pangle, sister of his late wife I think we can say that Vance and his siblings were born in Germany. How they are related to Philip Bush who died in 1813, I don't know.

Dowdall and a Franies (sic) Piles with a family of 5 in the list orf Joseph Longacre. Looks like they were separate families even back then. In the book by Wilmer Kerns - Historical Records of Old Frederick Co - p. 313 - Piles (Piles) Francis, died March 16, 1872 in the Hampshire Co. Poor House at 89 y, 4 mo. Born Nov. 1782. Both the Piles and Kiles seem to have vanished into thin air. I can find no trace of them after 1782. Maybe they went West.

I was really searching for a William and Joshua Piles. A Joshua Piles also appeared on this 1782 list, so I was hoping the "K" in Kiles was a reading error. What do you think?

I only have a few news papers of different years and locations that I wanted to post because of my lack of proof in my family tree. Somehow those few newspapers ended up here in a little town called Clayton Georgia. My father said there were bags and bags of them but he only got a few before they went to the local landfill about 10 or 15 years ago. Sorry I could not be of any help. Betty
