The Virginia Genealogical Society's Fall 2007 Conference, "The Road Goes Both Ways," will be held on Friday and Saturday, 2-3 November, at the Dumas Center for Artistic and Cultural Development in Roanoke, VA. The conference will be co-hosted by The Virginia Room of the Roanoke Public Libraries. On Saturday, two well-know speakers, Mary B. Kegley, and Craig R. Scott, CG, will present lectures on migration patterns in Southwest Virginia and the Shenandoah Valley and the impact of bounty land on migration. The program will be concluded with a virtual tour of The Roanoke Public Libraries' Virginia Room conducted by Laura S. Wickstead, The Virginia Room Librarian.
