Rootsweb is the standard Franklin County site and should be considered the mainstay of county level information. Our website, "Franklin County Virginia's Genealogy", http://www.franklincountyvagenealogy.com/ is an informal site where one can find what is available from Beverly Merrit along with a casual mix of donated info. My goal will be to post my personal collection of deeds and assorted records; more of a family level. Anyone who has something that they feel does not quite fit into the county level is welcome to send it along to me and I'll update the site about once a month.
